Field Production Superintendent – Colorado


CSI Recruiting is seeking a 15-20 year experienced Production Superintendent / Field Operations Manager for a client on the Western Slope of Colorado.  The client plans to fill this role in January 2021.

Our client seeks to hire an experienced field engineer with strong oilfield production/operations experience and a desire to help design a maintenance program for conventional assets. The asset is mature as is the infrastructure. The ideal candidate would have experience working with mature conventional infrastructure and managing a field staff but also help centralize maintenance procedures as well as the implementation of a cost-saving plan to modernize the asset.

Duties will include directing the scheduling of all maintenance activities for maintaining and improving the performance of existing equipment and systems, assisting in the development of new projects while adhering to defined labor and project budgets.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum 15 years oil and gas industry (5 in management), in a comparable mechanical maintenance management position
  • Project management, installation, budget and capital project management experience required
  • Candidates MUST have the ability to personally evaluate a wellhead (700 wells) and diagnose a problem and a solution on the spot.
  • This is a Field role which means you will be required to drive 45 minutes from the office to field daily. If you are not used to getting your hands dirty and handy with a wrench, this is not the role for you.
