Senior Facilities Engineer – Dallas, TX

CSI Recruiting is working with a Dallas-based E&P firm in their search for a Senior Facilities Engineer. Client is specifically seeking current or recent experience working as a Facilities Engineer focused on Permian Basin assets, as that region will be the primary concentration of the role.

Job Description:

The Senior Facilities Engineer will support day-to-day operations activity in a conventional, vertically developed high-CO2 gas field.

The position will be responsible for:

New Infrastructure Design & Construction

· Generate PFDs for new oil and gas infrastructure

· Generate designs and P&IDs for multi-well oil and gas wellsite facilities

· Generate and maintain pipeline gathering system models, and generate designs for oil, gas and water gathering systems

· Generate detailed AFEs and project management plans for all capital projects

· Solicit bids from general contractors, and oversee all permitting and construction activities through commissioning of facilities

Facility Engineering Management

· Provide day-to-day engineering support for company operated facilities infrastructure including but not limited to a major CO2 Processing, field dehydration and compression, water recycling, electric generation facilities.

· Optimize gas gathering system & field compression

· Work with EPC consultants for major plant projects as needed

Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration – Work with:

· Supply Chain team to ensure cost competitive equipment procurement

· Production Operations to trouble-shoot and de-bottleneck all active facilities as well as ensure the efficient start-up of all new infrastructure

· Production Engineering & Operations to ensure new well batteries are designed to handle expected production criteria

· Reservoir Engineering to ensure new batteries are designed consistently with expectations

· Accounting on Monthly Plant LOS Process

· Regulatory Department to ensure 100% regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

· BS Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years engineering experience within the domestic, onshore upstream oil & gas industry.

· Experience in design of oil and gas infrastructure required

· Compression experience required

· Refrigeration & CO2 processing experience would be an asset
