Vice President of E&P Sales – Denver, CO

CSI Recruiting is working with an oil & gas-focused services company on their immediate need for a Vice President of E&P Sales to be located in Denver, Colorado.

Our client is focused on providing field and technical services for upstream oil & gas companies throughout the U.S., with a focused on the Rockies, Texas and Oklahoma.  Working hand-in-hand with geologists, geophysicists, geoscience managers, exploration managers and geosteering personnnel, this company provides key services for the development and extraction of oil and natural gas.

Responsibilities

As Vice President of E&P Sales, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and marshaling the company’s sales staff, both internal and external sales representatives, charting strategy, creating incentive and commission programs, assisting in client meetings, closing business and maintaining key accounts throughout the U.S.

Travel will be extensive initially as you get familiar with the company’s clients and create relationships with your outside sales team.  Job is based in Denver, so candidates need to either live in Denver or be open to relocating to the area.

Requirements

10+ years of professional sales experience in the E&P industry, preferably with experience selling to upstream oil & gas geosciences departments.

5+ years in sales management, strategy and oversight of sales teams within the upstream oil & gas industry

Experience working hand-in-hand with company management and ownership to chart sales strategies, set budgets and sales targets, be the face of the company to key clients, and garner confidence and respect from the internal and external sales staff.
