Vice President of Sales – E&P / Oil & Gas – Houston, TX

CSI Recruiting is working with an innovative biotechnology company that is becoming a leader in the commercialization of bio-mineralization technology.  The company has developed a well sealing technology used to solve annular gas issues in the oil and gas industry, with the intent of providing the most reliable solution for eliminating methane leaks from oil and gas wells.

This firm is seeking a talented and well-networked sales leader to drive our company’s growth. Qualified candidates MUST HAVE extensive experience selling and networking within the domestic Oil and Gas industry.

Compensation will involve a base salary plus commission, along with full benefits. Total cash compensation year one should be in the $175-225k range, with the intent for that number to increase in subsequent years. There is a also a Long Term Incentive program for you to share in the company’s success.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for driving top line growth
  • Manage and expand existing client relationships
  • Network within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Secure new client relationships
  • Represent our company with the utmost professionalism
  • Oversee the MSA process
  • Partner with our Marketing team to advance new sales collateral, case studies, white papers, etc.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events (travel required)
  • Interface closely with our Operations teams to keep our field teams fully utilized
  • Partner with our Marketing team to advance our brand reputation and awareness
  • Utilize and champion our CRM system within the sales and marketing organizations
  • Hire and manage a team of sales professionals and 3rd party sales consultants

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10+ years sales and sales leadership experience, with CURRENT experience and an active network within the domestic oil & gas industry. E&P (Upstream Oil & Gas) experience is STRONGLY preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in selling solutions and services to both the Professional Suite / C-level and to Remote Office / Field leadership
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas drilling and production process
  • Ability to become an expert in the competitive landscape of emissions remediation technologies
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, sales meetings, and remote team leadership activities
  • Highly proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite
  • Experience with leveraging CRM systems.
